I’m an Energy Advisor and Certified Passive House Consultant with over 15 years of experience in the residential construction industry. I provide various services for homeowners, designers, architects, HVAC specialists and builders aimed at creating energy-efficient homes through better practices and using energy-efficient technologies.

My experience operating my own renovation company allows me to provide clients with extensive knowledge of home retrofits and new home construction techniques.

I follow the “House as a System” building science concept for home design and performance. This approach balances the various building components to provide occupants with a comfortable and healthy home. Using this approach, I have designed and managed the building of several Net Zero Ready homes, including my own.

My wife Lisa and I live in Golden, British Columbia and are passionate about the town and local community. We enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog, Crosby, and love all the town has to offer - skiing, mountain biking, fat biking and hiking.
